on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Located in the heart of the Douro, Quinta do Pôpa once again organizes the program’ Harvest at Pôpa. This year’s edition has a distinct programs: the ‘Harvest at Pôpa – Special 90 years Old Vines’ every Wednesday and Thursday, between 10:30 am and 3:00 pm.

The program start with a welcome wine moment, an introduction to Quinta do Pôpa’s origin and roots, and the story of the people who are part of this legacy, which began with the dream of the grandfather Pôpa.

‘Harvest at Pôpa – Special 90 years Old Vine` every Wednesday and Thursday

Quinta do Pôpa is celebrating nine decades of one of its Old Vines plots. The owners marked this event with two special wine packs on Quinta’s online store. Also, a wine tourism program under the motto ‘Special 90 years Old Vines: the importance of time.

During the Harvest season, this experience is a plus factor, allowing wine tourists to learn about the art of harvesting. After the reception – mentioned above – there is a visit to the cellar and the time room. After a visit to the vineyard, to understand and see closely what an Old Vineyard is, participating in the cutting of the grapes if it is taking place. This walk is rewarded with a unique Old Vines tasting during the traditional harvest lunch. It continues with the participation in all the processes in the cellar during the afternoon. This program costs €150 per person for a minimum of two participants and includes a complete guide for a fully personalized experience.
